Let’s be honest, the world is getting smaller and information is being shared in new ways and in masses. Clubs, Organizations, Associations, and Chambers have been around for years and continue to exist on the idea that it connects people and businesses within a community. The online community is as active as ever and is growing exponentially. Social media sites and tools like Facebook are similar to traditional Associations in that you can identify yourself and find others, just like a directory. You can even create groups and events on Facebook just as you would create subcommittees within associations and host events to get everyone together.
